Policy regarding Weather Alerts
The WxNotify alert system requires you to have either an 1.) SMS-capable cellular phone number on file, 2.) an active e-mail address, 3.) or Slack Webhook URL. This is a "confirmed opt-in" system. You must enter a code on this website that was sent to the supplied destination before the phone number, e-mail address, or Slack channel will start receiving weather alerts. To unsubscribe from alerts, simply sign in
to your account, click the user icon at the top-right of screen, and select Profile. Under the "Delete Account" section, click the "Delete My Account" button.
Phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and Slack Webhook URLs are stored in a secured database. They will never be shared with anyone outside of wxnotify.com without your written consent. I dislike spam greatly and strive to protect your contact information to the fullest extent possible.
